Ascension of love
is spirituality unexplained
we come in waves, the unattainable
there, within one's grasp
it's presumed, time stands still
dangling, on strings
we, who don't expect to fall in love
reconciling ourselves to contradictions
love, a single word that switches
a comfortable place
into a series of blinding delusions
it's been learned well, this singular word
conclusions seem alarming, cherishing social truths
the myth, remains unreliable
by any other means, it exudes unforeseen consequences
the only consistencies
in the end, love will, still does prevail

I haven't forgotten a moment

when the blue's of the sky

reminded me of ice tears

falling, through chaos

changing to a warmed mist

as the red of the sun burns

the moisture dry

remembering

that kiss

scarcely felt

is beautiful silence

of inner thoughts

of meadows

blanketed in greeneries lush

in the paleness

of the lilac moon

the touch

steps out

of the shadows
